Childhood Memories

This performance evokes childhood memories in the viewers. This act motivates the audience to think about their old memories and their hobbies to recreate them to live their childhood life once again. During Childhood, everybody gets a special relation with things e.g., toys, a dress or food, etc., For me, Rice and Mango Pickle are very special. When I was a child, I used to eat everyday morning yesterday rice and mango pickle with oil. In Telugu, yesterday rice means “Chaldi Annam”. People do not prefer to eat yesterday food with mango pickle. But I am so passionate about rice and mango pickle food. Rice with Pickle is the least option for people when they do not cook curry. For me, it is very natural to eat. At the age of 34, still I have the same passion for this food. Still, I can feel the same childish feeling. When I arrived in the USA, during my self-quarantine, I used to eat with Mango Pickle & Rice (fortunately I found mango pickle in an Indian shop, Chicago) Sometimes I intentionally eat mango pickle with rice to evoke my memories. I do not feel to go away from this passion. I have a special kind of relationship with this food. There is so much transformation from my childhood to adult but passion/interest in rice and pickle remain the same.

I have very fond memories of swimming in the pond with friends & going to movie. Till the age of 22 my graduation I lived both to fullest capacity. I knew only breaststroke & backstroke swimming natural ways, loved to stay In village ponds for long time.
I always use to think watching movie in theatre would improve concentration and in turn helps in focusing on studying. I’ve very vivid memories of even going movies before my exam season would start and every Sunday.
Thanks Praveen Sir for bringing those time and emotional life of child hood.🙏🙏🙏

It’s beautiful and these memories are cherished life long. I want to share something very special . In my village at UP we have a river sarju . When we were small my parents used to take us to village every summer vacations. My Dadi grand mother used to get up early and she used take me and other kids to river for bath. We used to enjoy so much the journey and the walkway to river ,all the fun in the water and then while returning back we used to visit village mandir and my grandmother used to tell stories all the walkway back home.it used to be so fun with nature and my granny and all the kids. I still wish to live those moments .

In my childhood, while offering cake to anyone, I myself used to open my mouth wide open as if i am going to eat cake. Even now when we celebrate and offer cake, we take photos with such pose to invoke my such childhood memories.
